Discussion briefs: for professionals working in agricultural, water or rural development who want to contribute to creating agricultural water management solutions. These briefs home in on several of the most promising technologies, business models and implementation approaches – outlining the current state of knowledge and where more thinking is needed to make possible solutions work for large-scale poverty alleviation.
Intervention briefs: for anyone interested in investing in, designing or implementing agricultural water management projects. These describe proven agricultural water management solutions that emerge from the project – detailing where and under what circumstances these solutions can be successful.
Country AWM investment briefs: for donors, investors, policymakers, project designers and implementers in the countries where the AgWater Solutions project is operating. These briefs provide concrete, science-based recommendations and tools to support AWM decision-making and implementation, including:
- criteria for selecting high-potential areas for investment;
- guidelines for location appropriate intervention strategies; and
- tools for estimating costs and benefits and monitoring and evaluating investments.
